the story

an endeavor of material culture founded by caroline borucki. in her youth, confidence flourished through a personal style of redesigned vintage/secondhand items. after pursuing a bachelor of arts in apparel design at dominican university [2009], borucki continued designing and began to collect textiles of woven materiality.

this curation of goods was provoked by a sensitivity to textiles, a desire for resourcefulness and a compulsion fueled by consumer culture. maintaining a small batch, one-of-a-kind output has been at the forefront, as demand for slow fashion increases.
